Our meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month at 7:00 PM from September through June (with the exception of December).
We meet at The Nature Place, located at 789 Myrick Park Dr, La Crosse, WI. This is accessed off of La Crosse St.

Thurman Tucker - Community Stewardship for Quail makes a difference
Thurman Tucker, Coordinator for SE Minnesota Quail Forever, will give a presentation about Bobwhite Quail habitat management efforts in the Coulee Region,
many of which involve local students and improve habitat not only for quail, but for many other bird species as well.
The program is free and open to the public.

Kevin Kenow - Common Loons in the Upper Midwest
Kevin Kenow, Wildlife Research Biologist with the USGS in La Crosse, will give a presentation on Common Loons. He has been conduction research on this species
for many years and will present his findings. This will include an assessment of Common Loon populations - and how they are adapting (or not) to the effects of
climate change and other envioronmental factors.

Annual Meeting
The January meeting is our annual meeting. It includes a potluck, a business meeting including an election of officers, and then sharing of photos.
The potluck will start at 6:00 PM, the Annual Meeting will start at 7:00 PM, with photo sharing afterwards. We will meet at The Nature Place.
For those who would like to participate in the social gathering, please bring light snacks to share.
