The Mississippi Flyway Birding Festival
2006 ~ Birder’s Social
Friday, May 19th 2006, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., on the Julia Belle Swain.
Boarding begins at: 4:00. All passengers must be on-board by 4:45
~ Cruise the Mississippi River! ~
After an exciting day of birding, join new friends for an evening cruise on the Mississippi River aboard the Julia Belle Swain, an authentic steam-powered paddlewheel boat. The evening will include a special dedication ceremony with Audubon and partners to announce the new designation of the Upper Mississippi River - Important Bird Area.
A cash bar, complimentary hors d’hourves
and music will be provided.
