directly following the Birders’ Banquet

“Habitats: From Humans to Hummers”

With their own home grounds as testament, Lee Zieke and Lindsay Lee are definitely serious about both gardening and birding. As owner-operators of Willowglen Nursery, a retail perennial flower farm and garden design company, they both spend countless hours in the outdoors observing and working with nature. This pair's insightful ideas are sure to entertain and educate you on everything from water gardening and feeding stations to sustainable gardening practices and plant selection.

 

Keynote Speakers

Lee Zieke and Lindsay Lee have had their hands in the soil, gardening and living together for over twenty five years. They own and operate Willowglen Nursery located in the picturesque hills north of Decorah, IA. They enjoy blending their backgrounds of fine arts and environmental education with practical gardening experiences. Willowglen specializes in selecting and growing the 'best of the best' in perennial flowers for their regional customers.
